He manages to restrain himself

He actually manages to restrain himself long enough to walk past the podium and out the lecture theatre doors.

The little terrier clears its throat. "My apologies for that students. I'm afraid University can open some minds only so far. Now," it says, hitting the button to start the powerpoint presention with its paw, "the evolution of the peppered moth is one of the..."

The lecture continues, as ordinary and as boring as any of Grodin's lectures, aside from the fact that its being delivered by a small grey dog. As the lecture finishes, the students file out, whispering under their breath. Some of the students even stop to ask Grodin questions about the lecture.

One of the last to exit the theatre, you turn and see Grodin hop down from his lecturn and pad quietly across the lecture theatre to exit through a door in the rear.
