Long ago an other worldly being descended down from the Heavens and onto the realm of man, changing it forever.
The being stood taller than the mountains and possessed strength and beauty beyond mortal comprehension. This being came to be known as Kaguya Otsutsuki.
In awe of her power, humanity came to worship the titan as a goddess and surrendered to her will.
Kaguya would eventually sire two sons, one of which would grow to one day become konown as the sage of six paths ,founder of the shinobi world.
Kaguya ruled as a benevolent deity for many years. But in time however, her heart grew dark from corruption, believing herself as the ultimate good. Any who strayed from the path she laid out were delt with harshly.
Her sons, no longer willing to stand by and watch their mother's tyranny, stepped forth to oppose her. As titans themselves, they possessed divine powers comparable to their mother's which meant only they could stand up to her. Mountains crumbled, oceans boiled, the very sky and Heavens were torn asunder under the weight of their blows and reality itself was warped and bent before their might.
Realizing that they could not kill her, the brothers performed a Jutsu that ripped the lion's share of her power from her and transformed her into the very moon itself. The stolen power was then split into nine pieces and scattered to the far corners of the world. With their task complete, the brothers parted ways with one traveling to the moon to watch over their imprisoned mother and traveling the world to spread the teachings of ninshu in the hopes that it would act as a medium from which true understanding and unity between all of humanity could be forged.
The sage's efforts, admirable though they may have been, were for not as many discovered it could be used as a weapon.People came to learn that through ninjutsu Chakra could be used to harness the very forces of nature and even warp reality. Humans also came to learn that, as a side effect, chakra stores manifest themselves as extreme levels of muscular growth and physical mass. The end result was a world where strength is everything, the bigger and stronger you were the better position you were in to succeed. In this world, many train day in a day out to get as big as possible.
Some for the power it brings, some for the sake of their family's welfare , and others for the incredible pleasure that the growth gives to the recipient. Many strive for great gains in order to emulate the titans for many still worship them to this day.
Now, in this land of giants, new legends are about to be born
