Teacher's Pet

Okay, so based on other chapters in this story, I'm gonna list some options about what can be done here.

For those who don't remember, the show's premise is centered around a blue dog named "Spot," who desires to be a human boy and attend school. His best friend is his owner, Leonard Helperman, a young boy in the fourth grade. Leonard is insecure and wishes to simply blend into the crowd at school rather than draw attention. He wants to be a "Normal Kid." His biggest source of strife comes from the fact that his mother, Mary Lou Helperman, is actually his fourth-grade teacher, and she tends to be overly affectionate towards him. Due to this, Leonard feels singled out by the class whenever his mom shows him affection at school, believing he is receiving special treatment. Compounding Leonard's frustration is his attraction toward Leslie Dunkling, the cute girl next door. He is not successful in talking to her and often results in stuttering or making a fool of himself.

Effectively, he resents being the Teacher's Pet as well as being so lame in his love interest's eyes. So imagine his frustration when his dog actually wants to attend school - literally being the Teacher's Pet - and that he ends up being more popular than him.

Spot has successfully invented an alter-ego known as "Scott Leadready II" and has proven to be a regular wiz-kid at academics. And worse, Leonard now has to keep his secret, hiding the fact that Scott Leadready is actually his pet dog from his mom, Leslie, as well as all the other kids in their class. Oh, and to make things even worse, Leslie likes the dog - both Spot and Scott - more than she likes Leonard.

Leonard's mom has a very optimistic and bubbly personality; she very rarely gets stern or frustrated and always tries to maintain a positive attitude, both at home and with her students. She is a stark contrast to her son. Where Leonard is shy and introverted, she is bombastic, outgoing, and even flirty at times. She often tries to get Leonard to come out of his shell while also showering him with affection, even to the point of addressing him with cute nicknames like "Doodlebug," much to Leonard's chagrin. But, on the other hand, there are times where she can't resist showering him with kisses, even in public. I imagine that in these stories, she will primarily be the source of all the conflict.

The only thing the show has going for it in terms of villains or antagonists is the Principal. Crosby Strickler is an irate, green-skinned man who hates dogs for a purported incident where a puppy - implied to be Spot - brought to school by a previous class bit off half of his thumb. He pours attention over his vicious and spoiled pet cat Tallulah, who detests Scott for being a dog. He is a self-centered narcissist obsessed with enforcing strict rules and making the school a top-tier establishment... despite often shirking responsibilities to go on working vacations. I imagine that he could be a potential target or antagonist in his desire to rid the world of dogs forever.

Then there's Dr. Ivan Krank, a mad scientist who serves as the main antagonist for the Teacher's Pet Movie. He has developed a method for turning animals into human beings, thus could be the key to granting Spot's wish for humanity. What other inventions could he have hidden up his diabolical sleeves? You decide.

Other characters include Leonard's other pets - like Pretty-Boy, a green-colored parrot with a short temper, quick to anger and criticize, and an affinity for opera-singing; thinks Spot's antics in the series to be foolish. And Mr. Jolly, a fat orange tabby-cat... not much to him except he's a coward and is usually only there to be a comic foil for Pretty-Boy.

There are more characters to the show, but they're not that substantial and will only be added on an as-needed basis.
So now, let's get to the options.
