This choice: Shadow climbs Amy's foot  •  Go Back...
Chapter #5

Speed is Quite in Handy for Climbing!

Beneath Amy's mountainous couch Shadow made his choice. It wasn't a particularly hard choice to make really, Shadow needed to be found ASAP and Amy would likely move after a while so he had to hustle. So using the fast route and climbing up Amy starting from her boot was easily the best thing to do. There was an increased risk but nothing in this life came free, at least that was what Shadow told himself.

Not wasting even a milisecond of time Shadow vanished in a puff of smoke, his slender black and red frame little more than a blur to nearby bugs and anything around his height. The giant pink hedgehog didn't see a thing, her head was tilted back as she seemed to focus on the clear blue sky; no doubt thinking of Sonic. After about thirty seconds Shadow found himself right before the tip of Amy's boot, its gigantic size unbelievable.

Shadow was literally the size of a speck of dirt compared to the vast rubber tower, heck even the rubber treads of it rose over a dozen times his height! Every little bone in Shadow's body seemed to reconsider, his base survival instincts roaring at him to turn around and run, but Shadow effortlessly fought the feeling and placed a gloved hand on Amy's boot. It's surface was smooth like glass with no holes or notches to grab onto, climbing it was going to be no easy feat but then again nothing Shadow ever did was easy. At least... it wouldn't have been easy for someone like Sonic who actually ran but Shadow had a slight advantage in this situation.

Raising a foot the black hedgehog placed her sneaker on the massive boot, activating its jets. His leg no longer felt like it was raised, instead it felt like he was standing on solid ground on both feet. Smirking slightly Shadow placed his other foot on the boot, while he first one was still midair! Like the first the other foot's jets roared to life, now Shadow was literally standing sideways!

"I really like these Skates" Shadow chuckled to himself, his body bending over like he was about to sprint. Focused solely on running Shadow took off with a sonic boom, his black body again naught but a blurr as his speck sized self ran along Amy's boot. The black hedgehog was amazingly fast but his size heavily hindered the distance he traveled. At the speed Shadow traveled he would probably cover six to nine inches per minute which while amazing for his size still provided a huge danger in itself. Amy was about four to five feet tall, meaning Shadow would take about seven minutes at least to reach her ear; a lot could happen in seven minutes. All Amy would have to do is a slight act, kick her feet, get up, even sneeze and Shadow could easily die or worse.

Shadow knew all of this before he even started, to any other person it would have likely made them reconsider but for Shadow it only fueled his determination. Like a bolt of black lightning he thundered his way across Amy's massive foot. It had only been a few seconds and already he cleared the rubber treads that easily dwarfed him, now he was running along the red which while progress also meant now he stood out on Amy's boot, should she see him Amy would likely treat him like a bug.

His face held the same apathetic expression it usually had but on the inside Shadow was in complete awe. He, one of the strongest and probably most feared beings on the planet was naught but a speck of dirt on Amy's boot. In a fight with an ant, he might actually lose. It was tough to absorb this newfound weakness, but Amy seemed to make coping easier. She was a cute girl to be sure but Shadow always found her kind of annoying, deep down he truly respected Amy though; for her likeness to Maria if anything. But at this size....that cute appearance had manifested as total beauty and a god-like sensation. Everything about the giantess was magnified, her pure eyes, pretty features, even her....assets. To an extent Shadow enjoyed the sight, not that he would ever show such.

"Man...WHERE IS SONIC?!" Amy shouted, her voice actually bringing a level of pain to Shadow. For a moment Shadow was nervous, Amy almost seemed to prepare to move which luckily she didn't.

"I've gotta hurry." Shadow thought aloud, trying to go even faster. It had now been a couple of minutes and Shadow was nearing the opening of Amy's boot and the beginning of his run up her leg. Amy....

You have the following choices:

1. Still stared at the sky in boredom.

2. Kicked her legs out of boredom, unknowingly sending Shadow into her boot
