You put on high heels and went downstairs

"Duuuuude!" You yelled to Alexis as your silver high-heel clad get clicked and clacked on the floor as you stumbled clumsily downstairs trying to show her what happened.

"Calm down!" She exclaimed, as you met her gaze with a smile brimming from ear to ear. "What's got you so happy?" She asked. It has been some time since you felt joy like this, but she didn't seem to notice anything, at least yet.

"Notice anything different?" You asked, still beaming.

She glanced down at your feet and said nonchalantly, "You're happy we share a shoe size? I know I said you could borrow my clothes when Mom and Dad are out, but I wouldn't brag about having such dainty feet. You know what they say about small feet, right?" She laughed.

You brushed it off. "Look closer!"
