Something strange

You approach the two girls nervously.
"H-"
"Hi Ant!" Emily interrupts hastily, quickly putting her hands behind her back as if to conceal something.
"Sooo... what's going on?" you ask, attempting to sound casual.
"Nothing! Danielle's just being... well, Danielle." Emily blurts out, hitting Danielle on the shoulder.
"Well Ant, Emily-"
"Shut up, Danielle!" Emily interrupts again. Something strange was going on for sure.
"Oh gee, I feel strange..." Emily exclaims. This is quickly followed by an odd creaking sound. "Well, you look a bit pale." you tell her. She groans and clutches her stomach, bending over.
"Uh, I'll take you to first aid if ypu want..." you offer reluctantly. You notice Danielle grinning for some reason.
"Wait..." Emily says. "I feel fine now!" she adds. She stands up straight again. "Good, you look OK." you reply. "But wait... aren't you... nah, never mind."
"Isn't she what, Ant?" Danielle asks.
"No, doesn't matter." you say. "See you later, Emily!"

She couldn't have... could she? Wasn't Emily normally an inch or two shorter than you? And why can you now hear her giggling madly!? Something strange is definetly going on...

1. You go to your first class.
