There was a knock at the door.
Baren got up to see who it was. He was shocked to see Hild from Oh! My Goddess.
"Hello, Baren." Hild said.
"Hild? But-but-but-" Baren stammered before Hild interrupted him.
"A character in a work of fiction? Well, in your old world, in a manner of speaking, that was true, and I allowed it. Some dimensions temporarily bump into other ones. Some people can subconsciously glance into other dimensions when that happens. This can give a quite a few writers a veritable treasure trove of stories." Hild said as she walked in the room.
"So what are you doing here with me?" Baren asked.
"One of my underlings gave you an offer to make anyone you desire to be your mother. I came to ask if you want me to be your new mommie." Hild said with a small smile.
"I dunno..." Baren said. "What about Urd?"
"I think she'd be happy to get a brother." Hild said.
"What about Belldandy and Skuld?" Baren asked. He regretted asking a bit when Hild's smile went down a little when he said Belldandy's name.
"They're only your sisters if you really want them to be." Hild said. "But enough of these questions. Do you accept my offer?"
