You decide it's probably not a good idea to talk to your landlord about an extension on your rent. She's already not happy about you burning a hole in the carpet with that cheap heater you bought at the second-hand store. Sure it wasn't your fault, but she didn't care. She's always had it out for you, ever since you first moved into the building.
A nice long yawn escapes you while you struggle to hold your eyes open. There are still plenty of job sites on the internet to look through, but your body protests against every second you choose to stay awake. You can feel the bed sitting behind you practically beckon you to slip under the covers, and drift off into a warm soothing slumber.
After promising yourself that you wake up first thing tomorrow morning to resume your job hunt, you turn off your computer, put on your pajamas, brush your teeth, and hop into the bed. You throw a casual prayer out into the ether to whatever deity that'll listen for a tomorrow that doesn't suck before you set your head on your pillow, and prepare to drift off to sleep.
