Adding to the awkwardness, this was also around the time Belinda and Daphne's father opened up their marriage, meaning Belinda began having men and women (but increasingly more women) come over for sex while Daphne's father was away on business. "Because today is a very special day, young Daphne."
Daphne hated that sentence. Whenever she heard it, it meant Belinda was about to find some new, twisted way of having sex with her. She had an idea of what Belinda had planned today, and she'd been hoping to get out of the house before she could act on it. But now she knew she was too late.
