Our story begins with you, a college man named John. You're a bit tall at 6'3", but you don't look overly so because your build fits it. You could be a bit slimmer or more active, but you've got too much going on at the moment to focus on such things. You're 22 years old and currently living in a rental home with two other guys, who share the rent. They seem pretty normal, but you don't hang out with both of them all that often since they keep to their own rooms most of the time playing WoW (World of Warcraft for those who don't know [I doubt there are any who don't anymore]). They're also close to your age with Tom being the eldest at 26, and Alex being the youngest at 20.
Alex is a bit on the short and stocky side at 5'2" but he is trying to be more active. Although he is playing WoW a lot, he does go out to the nearby pool to go swim and check out the girls, even though he knows they won't pay attention to him. Of your two housemates, he is the only one you are actually friends with. Even though you don't play WoW with him, he does come out to do the more active activities with you.
Tom is tall and lanky at 6'5" and doesn't quite have the muscles or body fat to balance it out. Most of the time he's either on his computer or out at some card tournament, probably Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic, but you don't really care. Sometimes if you're really bored, you'll play one his card games with him, but that doesn't happen too often. The main reason that you can stand to live with him is because occasionally his younger sister, Lisa, comes to visit.
Lisa is Tom's 19 year old sister. Ever since you first saw her visit, you've had your eyes on her, but then again, most guys in the area have. When you've seen her the main things you noticed were that she had a nice rack and great legs, but you've never really paid much attention to the other details.
Your house is roomy enough to let you work on small building projects and not bother the others most of the time, but not large enough to be too expensive for the three of you. It has three floors; the first floor which has the living room, the kitchen and your room (which used to be an office), the second floor which has both Tom's and Alex's rooms, along with the only bathroom in the house, and then there is the basement, which has the garage out the back of it and the laundry room next to it and your main project space. Sometimes your housemates purchase things without telling you, which leads to confusion when a sudden delivery comes sometimes. There was one time when Tom ordered some food on the internet that had something to do with some celebrity, but at the same time that the delivery was due to arrive, you had ordered some food from the new restaurant down the street. To make a long story short, you ended up eating Tom's delivery and getting sick because the food had spoiled on the way.
You are in your third year of college and you really need a break. You've been working so hard at school and the gas station near you that you're having a hard time telling what day it is anymore, so you finally decide to call both the school and your job and tell them that you're sick and can't come in for a few days.

The doorbell rings really early in the morning one day during your break. You go to check the door, but there's no one there and a package is now sitting on your doorstep. You pick it up to examine it, but there are no markings on it to tell who it's for or where it came from. You walk inside and quickly begin opening it, hoping to discover the sender or the contents. Once you finally get the tape off, the flaps open to reveal a lot of styrofoam peanuts. You dig through them for a bit and find a small hand-held device that looks much like an Ipod, except that instead of the Apple logo on the back, it has a large "T." You try digging some more, hoping to find a note, but none can be found.
You boot up the device hoping that maybe the instructions are recorded on it, but once the screen turns on, you notice two buttons, "Transform," and "Scan." You look the device over again and notice that the top end of it has a small camera behind a slightly transparent plastic, almost as though the device were a remote.
You first hit the "Transform" button and suddenly a bunch of options appear on the screen, like; Height, fat/muscle, gender, hair color/length, and many others. Not paying any attention to where you're pointing it, you change a few options and then hit enter. Nothing seems to happen. You look around to see if the device turned anything on or off, but don't notice anything out of the ordinary.
You go back to the main screen and hit the "Scan" button to see what it does. Suddenly, the screen starts showing what the camera on the tip sees, with a message of, "Point camera at subject and hit enter to capture a scan." visible near the bottom. You point it at the fake plant that always sits in the living room, and hit enter. Suddenly, a 3-D copy of the plant is shown spinning on the screen.
"Wow," you think, "this thing got all that from one picture! Let's see if it can do that with people too!"
Cautiously you head towards the window that faces the backyard. You've always known that your neighbors behind you had some seriously pretty daughters, so you figure that you can see what they look like from all angles now with this new device. You look out the window and see one of the daughters laying on a beach chair near their pool. Pointing the new device at her, you hit scan again and see an extremely detailed 3-D version of her on the screen. You see her other sisters coming out to jump in for a swim and scan them too. You try to change the angle that you're viewing the first daughter at at, but it seems that the scan always remains vertical compared to the floor, so you sit down and try to get under her scan to see, but accidentally hit one of the smaller buttons you didn't notice before on the scan screen.
ZAPPP!
