Naruto sat in his kitchen, staring at the massive pile of food before him and rubbing his hands eagerly.
Earlier that day, Naruto had felt immensely hungry, something that not even multiple trips to Ichiraku could satisfy. Oddly, those visits always ended with him even hungrier than he had been before. He didn't understand why this was-his visits to his favorite ramen stand always left him satisfied, and even a little bloated sometimes-but he did understand something: to feel satisfied, he'd need more food, and a LOT of it.
To this end, he had taken his frog wallet, filled to bursting with cash from numerous missions, and gone on something of a shopping spree. He picked up everything from noodles, sweets, meat, and everything in between. It had taken a while, but he had finally amassed an enormous amount of sustenance and had, with some difficulty, hefted it all the way back to his house.
Now, here he sat, gazing at his food and barely able to keep himself from drooling. His stomach growled, reminding him that he was still hungry.
Deciding to oblige it, he opened up a pack of noodles and dug in.
