Something new

'Your time will come human' spat Tyger 'I will see you in the arena. Storming off Tyger returned to her room to rest and found her roommate Shalar laying on his bunk. 'Have you heard?' he asked blinking slowly, amber light shining then fading away 'Heard what?' she snapped still riled from her encounter with Ryan. 'Theres been a late entrant, some human or other' her roommate replied, 'I just thought you should know.'
'Thankyou.' said Tyger sarcastically 'Now I do and I would thank you to shut up I want to rest before my next bout.' Shalar sighed deeply then rose and left the room, 'All yours' he said.
Later Tyger rose regretting her sharpness with her friend and went to check the roster, hoping to find him there, when she arrived Shalar was nowhere to be seen, but the entry beside hers on the roster caught her attention.....
