Well, not necessarily difficult for Katy, but definitely different.

It had been made even more 'different' when her parents had naturally conceived a younger brother almost a decade after Katy was adopted.

Not that there was anything but love between Katy and her younger white brother. On the contrary, Katy doted on her younger brother Steve. And Steve was very fond of his older sister.

Very, very fond.

And that fondness added some hidden, lustful elements when Steve became an adolescence and discovered that girls were different in a very good way.
