July had just moved to this town. Not that far mind you, just a few towns over, but she still moved and it was quite a sad time for her. She had to say good bye to all of her friends and go to a place she has never been, and just before school started to top it all off. Her family moved to a house quite close to the school so it isn't too bad of a fly for her to get there, and she had been studying her schedule the night before in her nervousness so she has that down to a tee. It should be quite an easy start to the school year for her, but this thought has done nothing to quell her nerves. You see, this is her freshman year of high school. While most pokemon have evolved at least 1 stage by now, she is still a pidgey. She is quite powerful for one, but a pidgey is a pidgey and is not powerful at all compared to second stage pokemon. She is way behind the power curve and who knows what could happen to her should another pokemon go on a power trip.
She arrives at the high school, well before the bell, trying to keep her head down and avoid other pokemon if possible. Due to the massive size of the entry doors, she is unable to open them, embarrassingly trying to pull them open before noticing a little flap she and other small pokemon can enter. July zips inside of the school and takes a look around at the empty hallway. Dark blue lockers line the hallway and the floor is covered in light blue tiles. The walls are made of cinder blocks painted white and the ceiling has drop tiles that are white as well, with a panel light every couple of yards down the hall. The hallway seems to branch off in every direction with classrooms and storage rooms everywhere. She starts to worry about getting lost, it would be quite easy to do that in a building this big. She quickly racks her memory for the classroom she has to go to first. It is E258. The way this school numbers classrooms is the letter is the wing of the building, A-F; the first number is the floor, 1-4; and the next two numbers is the room. This means she has to go to room 58 in the E wing on the second floor. Should be easy enough.
July races though the halls, hoping to get there quickly so she doesn't have to see any other pokemon until class starts. Maybe she will be able to make a friend or two during class so she doesn't have to be alone all the time. Flying up the stairs and to the E wing, she quickly finds her class. The plaque on the right side of the door says: "Room E258, Mr. Kilo"
