Krypto looked about, unsure of why everything was so... black. The Dog Patrol Ship had seemingly vanished, and so had the rest of the world. In his thoughts, he nearly got hit by a hydrogen atom. "Whoa!" he shouted. ..and then realization struck. "I'm the size of an ATOM!" he screamed, a little bit scared of the world around him. His size, however, increased so that he saw all the nuclei of elemental atoms flitting about. Still growing in size, he eventually became a picometer big. Still incredibly small, but he wasn't atomic anymore.
Now Krypto could see the atoms proper. As he continued to grow, he became big enough to see water. Literally, he could see a molecule of water. His size increased, eventually becoming a nanometer big. He could see the buckyball, the nanotube, and a Glucose molecule, as well as large phospholipids. In short order, as his size grew, he could then see all the things that made humans sick. He grew to a micrometer big, watching the world and all around it. Slowly, he continued to grow to a millimeter's size... and continued to grow, thankfully.
His size finally stopped at his regular size, and to him... it all seemed like a dream at first. But just to be sure, he washed his paws just in case.
