"I don't know what you're talking about. You don't look taller. Or maybe you've grown a few inches since I last saw you. You've always been a very tall boy." You say with a forced smile on your face. You know, no one would believe this. Why didn't you lie more believable?
Then something strange happens. Dave's tight clothes are starting to expand to fit his new size. His cracked shoes, with his half-feet out, are healing and fitting perfectly.You don't know what happened but you take advantage of it. "You couldn't grow too much anyway because your clothes aren't small."
"What's not ..." Then he looks at himself and gets shocked. "But just before ... I ... and." He was really confused.
"Dave come here to help me." His mother asked. She didn't notice the change in her son. "What happened Giant, you look nervous." Emily joined them.
As you watch the family, you think: Dave was much taller now and no one noticed the change except you and he. You knew what happened because you had the remote. Dave's maybe because he's changed. But the change did not occur immediately. Maybe it will always be like that? Or did the change happen just because you pretended that everything was normal and on Dave wasn't affected because he noticed the growth spurt before the change. You don't know for sure. So when no one is watching you shoot him again. You are very focused on keeping everything normal. This time, the boy's clothes change immediately. Dave is 7'7 tall now. He didn't noticed this increase, but he was still confused. That means he thinks now he's grown so big in the first shot. "Interesting." You think.
The point is that everything is fine. Dave is a very smart kid but he's shy and reticent. Maybe he just quietly accepts all that has happened to him.
