You were still thinking who should you try the remote with when someone knocked at the door. At first you thought it would be the oversized Dave coming back with more questions about his height but you relaxed where you noticed it was just a girl scout.
"Hello! Would you like to buy some cookies?" The girl said with a hopeful smile and a box of cookies on her hand. She was apparently was really into this scout stuff because she had her entire uniform in order and a sash full with those little badges. Other than that you noticed she was quite short, despite looking only a couple of years younger than you you were a full head taller. Behind her, you saw a cart full of the product she was selling with different flavors.
"Ugh" you rolled your eyes at the distraction and gave an unfriendly grunt.
"Come on, it's for our end of the year camping trip budget" The girl tried again and blabbed about how much you would be helping to develop the community with your buy or something like that, but you stopped paying attention. Gears turned in your head now, why not try the remote with this girl and see what happens?
"Alright alright, let me get some cash then" You stop the girl and leave the door open as you go towards the kitchen, rolling your eyes but smiling as the girl pumps her fist celebrating a successful sale.
You retrieve some money to compensate the girl for what you were about to do and sneakily look from the kitchen door to the entrance so you can get a good shot. She is just there playing with her phone and waiting patiently.
"Everything is normal, everything is normal" you whisper to yourself finger on that growth button again hoping to get more control over the supposed reality changing properties of this device. There were another couple of things in the back of your mind too, the first was to fix Dave so he stopped feeling confused about his size change, would it be possible with another shot of the remote? Would he just let it go eventually or remember he wasn't that tall in the first place? The second was to get a finer control over how much you can grow or shrink things at people. This stuff has two buttons and your first attempts were.. a bit accidental, so the little scout here would be a good test ride.
