My mom and I went to sit on the couch to watch the news. As bad as I felt for Brian, I knew that the only thing I could do was just watch the news and see what he was going to do next. The helicopter kept its distance from him as he walked along a highway. It was a pleasant surprise to see that Brian was doing his best not to cause any damage to people at his size. It made me feel even more like crap for making him go through this. My mom looked at me and told me that she couldn't believe it was happening. I was still surprised myself, although I couldn't imagine how my mom must of felt about this.
She looked over at a seat where Matt usually sat in when watching the television. "Where's Matt?" She asked aloud to no one in particular. I looked over to where Matt was suppose to be, but he wasn't there. My mom glanced at the other side where the kitchen was at, but he wasn't there either. His coat was on the seat where he was suppose to be, so that meant he was still in the house. She yelled out for Matt and got a response. "I'm here!" He shouted, although it sounded like it was not on this floor. We both looked back at the stair case and realized he was upstairs.
This horrified me as I suddenly remembered where I put the remote. Matt tended to invite himself into my room without my permission, just to annoy me. Normally, I would of been fine with it, but with the remote in my room out in the open, I couldn't take a chance. I got up from the couch as I excused myself, "I'm going to check up on him." I told my mom. I hastily approached the stair case when-
