Entering the blade shop Kami was dazzled by the hundreds, if not thousands, of swords and blades hanging from the walls. He figured that, with his agility and speed, a small sword would suit him nicely in the case of an attack in close quarters. Though, that only narrowed the selection down to like... around three hundred blades.
"Excuse me, I need some help selecting a blade" Kami asked before seeing a very large and muscular Boar turn around from behind the counter.
"Yes, I might be able to help you little fox man" the boar said in a very deep Russian accent. The name tag on the beast's nicely tailored black suit said "Boaris Stroganoff". "What does someone like yourself need in a place like this?"
Kami gulped for a second before saying, "I'm looking for a good, small sword for self defense. I was also hoping to get it custom tailored, I suspect that your the one who forges most of these?"
Boaris gave a loud and deep laugh saying, "you think I created these, I'm flattered my friend but I think you might need to talk to the real artist if you want a custom blade." Boaris then turned around and yelled in a voice that caused the swords to shake, "KLASH, CUSTOM ORDER FOR YOU AT THE FRONT DESK!"
"HOLD ON TO YOUR TUSKS!" called back a surprisingly younger male voice. There were some deep clomping footsteps as a human in his late teens early twenties walked out of the back. Klash was wearing a white dress shirt with gloves, along with a katana hanging from his hip. The young man's black hair was greased back showing off his slightly sweaty forehead.
"Klash" Boaris said, "our friend here wants a customized small sword for defense purposes." Kami noticed that Klash was looking at him with a calculating stare, though it probably didn't help that Kami himself was at slight disbelief that someone so young and thin could be a sword smith.
"Looks like he hasn't fought much, but I think a single bladed New Moon style might work" Klash mumbled to himself, "though I might want to dull it a little."
"Dull the blade?" Kami said with surprise, "I don't want a dull blade." Then as quick as he finished his sentence, Kami saw Klash place his hand near Kami's arm. that was when Kami saw the hidden blade that was sticking out right under Klash's hand. With a slow sweep, a small section of Kami's fur was shaved off of his arm with an almost unreal ease.
"That's what I consider, 'a little' dull" Klash said with a smile, "I don't want to give you a blade that can accidentally cut part of your foot off if you happen to drop it."
"O.K" Kami shuttered as Klash handed him a dagger and sheath.
"Here's something to tide you over until I finish your blade" Klash said, "just tell me where you live and I will deliver it."
