Lauren looked through the plane window; she could see the beautiful oceans and beaches of Florida where all of the families were happily playing and basking in the sun. Not Lauren. She was tired from raising her 3 children and the stresses of motherhood. Now that her children were all away in college, she and her friends had celebrated by going on vacation in Florida.
Lauren gathered her carry-on from the top cabinet and followed the people out of the plane. Outside, she saw her best friends, Nicole and Victoria, holding up a sign that said, "Girls' Weekend!" written on it.
Excited Lauren shouted, "Hey, girls!
"Lauren!" the two mothers shouted.
The three women ran over to each other and hugged it out. Nicole said, "I'm so glad you finally made it!"
"We almost thought you couldn't make it here." Victoria said.
Shrugging, Lauren said, "Well, I'm here aren't I?" The girls cheered and hugged it out again. "So what's first on the agenda.
"Well, the young hotel men have already gotten out luggage and taken them to our room, so we can head off to..."
Lauren asked excitedly, "What? A spa?"
Victoria said, "No, even better!"
"What is it? Pamala Beach?"
"Nope! We're going to...Disney World!"
Then, Lauren's happy smile slowly frowned. She was expecting something more...mature for three grown women to go to. "Uhh..." Lauren said. "That's..not quite what I was expecting."
"Come on! We don't wanna miss the 12:00 parade!" the two mothers grabbed Lauren by the arms and brought her into the car where they drove off to the most wonderful place on Earth.
