Despite knowing the dangers of making contact with a slayer, the zombie girl couldn't just bring herself to let the helpless woman die. Thinking fast, she grabs a nearby vine and yells out to the woman.
"Here! Grab onto this!"
She then tosses the vine to the woman, who immediately grabs onto it and uses it to pull herself out of the quicksand. As she gets out of the sandy trap, the woman thanks the girl for rescuing her.
"Thanks for the save, Miss. I was in a real fix there. Might I ask why you were out here in the middle of a swamp though?"
"Well... Ummm... I was... Uhhh..."
The zombie girl shuffled through her mind for an excuse that she could use. The woman hadn't gotten a close enough look at her yet to notice what she was, so the girl wanted to try and keep her true identity hidden if possible. This plan was quickly shattered, however, as she heard the woman let out a gasp of shock.
"Y-you're a zombie?!"
The girl quickly panicked.
"P-please don't hurt me! I don't mean you any harm, honest!"
She then curled into a ball in anticipation of some form of attack.
