(Author's notes: in this storyline all elves are giants.)
Keyla was bored with her life in the wooden realm of her people, "I wish something exciting happened in my life" she thought as she walked in the forest to clear her mind. Despite being over 200 years old, she was a teen in her people's standars. "Immortality seems so dull if there is nothing interesting to do" she thought again, not noticing that she was walking towards the edge of the forest in the south.
"I wonder" she said to herself as she noticed where she was "what would happen if I venture to the outside world"
The elves didn't interfere with the rest of the world, nor did they have relations with the younger races. Being the oldest race created by the gods They considered themselves superior to the rest of the world.
Keyla however had always been curious to know what was going on beyond the edge of the forest, as none of the little people ever entered their woods out of fear.
Keyla steped out of the forest and approached the shore of the great river that divided the Elven realm from the rest of the world
She seemed doubtful for a moment, but then a smile came to her lips "Who cares" she said as she stepped into the river, which was very deep for the little people, but only came to her knees.
As she reached the other side of the river she decided to head towards a village of hobbits that was located not far from here, she knew where it was for at nights she would climb to the highest trees and stare at the lights of the little village, always wondering how the little people lived their lives, and now she was about to find out.
Meanwhile there was a conmotion on the village for Hobbits rarely received visits from the other races and three strangers had come today, two men and a dwarf.
The leader of the small group was a knight of the sacred order in the Gondor, the mightiest and noblest kingdom of men. The other man was a barbarian from the wild lands in the far north and the dwarf came from the mines in the great mountains in the south
"We have come all the way here looking for a companion of adventure" said the knight to the hobbits "The great sorcerer of my kingdom has said that here we would find someone that would help us"
He was about to continued but was interrupted as one of the hobbits turned pale and screamed "g..gg..giant"
Keyla went to her knees as she reached the edge of the village and smiled gently "How cute" she said.
there was a general panic as hobbits started to run. Keyla was a gentle creature, as all her people were, but she couldn't help but feel playful after seeing their reaction.
"awww. are you frightened??"
She was interrupted when a voice called to her
"You shall not harm any of these innocents" said the knight as he took his swords and stood between her and the village.
