Sarah continued to pound on the flaps, praying they would open so she could escape, until she heard something moving behind her. “Oh no, not you again.” She moaned as she saw the cord snaking towards her.
Kayva felt Sarah inside her, running to and fro as she evaded the inevitable. “Fun is fun dear. But all good things must come to an end.” She said before summoning her magic again.
Sarah was making another dash to evade the cord when suddenly she was jerked to a stop. In the faint light in Kayva’s womb, Sarah saw bands of mysterious energy around her wrists and ankle. She also saw the cord floating towards her. “No! Don’t, please.” She begged, before the cord lunged.
Kayva tensed up suddenly, then relaxed. “You’re mine now dear.” She said with a triumphant smile, “Now, let’s get to work.” Kayva indeed did start working, first on the list was to remove Sarah’s memories. Kayva paid little heed to the images she saw in her mind as she siphoned away her soon to be daughter’s old memories, except for the one of the location of Sarah’s village which somehow had escaped Kayva’s notice. When she was done, Kayva headed for home to sleep and prepare for hunting around her newest target. “I’ll see you again in a few months dear.” She said to the now unconscious girl in her womb.
