As Kayva left, she paid no attention to the young monster hunter. He may have just been bested by the normally gentle giantess, but he wasn’t going to accept defeat. He picked up his sword, which Kayva dropped before she turned to leave, and threw it at her.
The sword was too small compared to Kayva to do any significant damage, what pain there was for Kayva was no different than a thorn to normal sized people. “Ow.” Kayva moaned slightly as she pulled the sword from her ankle. She grimaced at the blood she saw on the tip and a few inches down the sword blade, and the trickle of blood she felt on her ankle.
“You don’t take a hint, do you?” She growled as she turned to face the young man again. “You couldn’t just go home and leave well enough alone. I showed you more mercy than scum like you deserve, and this is how you repay me? Well guess what ‘Mr. Hero’, I’m not showing you any mercy this time.”
