A New Day

The next day, Vern woke up in an eerie darkness. He had no idea where he was. He could smell the rotten stench of rats and dead bodies. He suddenly realized he was in a prison cell. He was laying on a huge bed. As he looked around, he found that it seemed as if he shrunk size! Then, he heard someone or something coming. There were very loud, deep footsteps coming from outside coming towards his cell. He finds it to be Lucinda, and she is twice his size now!
