You decide to agree with Marty. After all, you can barely see a thing as low as you are now. There is a table beside the bed, where Megan's purse resides. For all you know, she could have left it behind, or is still here. This is not the time to guess. Marty equips a rope and hook that should hopefully reach the top of the table. He swings violently for a long time, until he releases the rope and the hook catches in a notch in the woodwork. You have to admit this guy must have a good arm.
Tom grabs the other end while Marty tests the rope's strength and ascends. You ask Tom "Was he some kind of athlete or something?" Tom does not know the man and remains silent.
