You take a few steps closer towards the source of the noise, small twigs snapping beneath your feet. You hear a deep rumbling, a desperate yell for help, and a faint rustling that was steadily gaining momentum. Even though you feel a bit intimidated by the noise, you press onwards in the hopes of getting out of the forest.
Suddenly, a black blur runs right next to you, spinning you around and knocking you down on your feet! Ignoring the pounding noise rising up in your head, you quickly force yourself up to see what it was.
It's Shadow the Hedgehog! You feel so shocked, its like your whole body is being electrocuted. He stops a short distance away, leaning over slightly as he holds something against a bloody bruise on his chest. He force yourself up as quick as you can, tripping over yourself slightly, and walk closer to him to investigate.
Once you get a bit closer, you notice Shadow is looking down with his eyes clenched shut and breathing deeply due to his wound. Blood was slowly wicking around his hand, staining it a deep dark red.
Now you just feel more surprised than anything. How does Shadow the Hedgehog get injured like this? You see his legs tremble, and he soon falls straight to the ground. The hand covering his wound flops to the ground, and an object he had been holding in his hand falls into a nearby bush. His breathing is slowly decreasing, and his muscles releasing their tension as they slowly faded away.
