Ashley Did Something

Amanda is engrossed in the television programme and doesn't notice anything going on around her. Until something major happened.
A burst of light shattered from Ashley's room and that finally broke the spell of the TV. She got up and carefully walked through to the closed door to Ashley's room. She's almost afraid to open it, but she does.
The sight before her stuns her. It's also then that she realises she should have paid attention to the object.
