Out of curiosity, you grabbed your phone and called Robert, one of your best friends.

"Hello?" he said, picking up the phone.
"Hey, it's me, Katie!" you say in her voice.
"Wow dude, this is the most pathetic prank you've ever done."
"What?" you asked.
"Dude, everyone knows Katie has a deeper voice; you even tried to imitate hers once, and you still couldn't get your voice low enough."
"Oh, er...okay." you said, annoyed that this prank didn't work.
