"Okay so Eliwood's going to be blabbing about that thing for a couple of hours at least so I don't think we can expect much help from him." Sain slid back int the room with a gloomy face. "Do you have any other people we can get some help from? Hmm?" Sain grinned at the tiny figure of Kent on the bed. Before he had always been considered second best to his partner. A lackey, a second banana. But now look at who was in charge. Seeing Kent so small and powerless made Sain feel wonderful, and he wasn't about to hide it.
Sighing Kent got up and began pacing around the bed. "Okay well there's always Lucias right? Oh wait..he's probably with Lord Eliwood as well. I hear he's taken quite a interest in promotion items too." Kent stood still and closed his eyes. Was there nobody available to help him? Someone who was not busy? He didn't want to make someone go out of their way just to sort out a little problem like this (pardon the pun).
"If I may suggest.." Sain interrupted Kent's train of thought. "Why don't I take you back to my room and have a look through some of the army's scrolls? Erk the mage has been dumping quite a bit of his extra tomes in my chambers and maybe one of them is the cure to all this.." Sain gestured to Kent's tiny size and was unable to hold back a giggle.
"This is not funny Sain." Kent spoke with a serious tone while looking up at the giant face of his partner.
"Oh yes it is." Sain replied with a snicker. "Why you're so small I could do anything with you. Look!" He picked up Kent who gasped in shock and struggled with no prevail. "Aha, why you're so small I could easily step on you with my boot and crush you. Lookie here!" Sain placed Kent on the ground in front of him. The tiny knight fell on his back and was too stunned to move.
Sain put on an evil grin and raised his foot. "I'm not joking Kent. I could just crush you to death right here, right now." He hovered his foot over his tiny friend.
Kent gasped. It was like his nightmare had come true. He could see the bottom of Sain's boot. They were longer than his whole body. If it was lowered...
Sain smirked. He wasn't really going to do this. This was all just a practical joke - something he was using to fool his friend.
Or was it? Could he really step down and stomp his best friend to death? Why not? He was so small and pathetic to Sain. A bug. Lord Eliwood would probably reward him for getting of such a -
What was he thinking? He couldn't really crush his best friend, could he?
