Extreme Boredom

His father was gone on "official" business and his sister was in Frelia with her friend Tana. Ephraim sat alone in his room in castle Renais trying to find something to do without either of them. Various knights had tried to entertain him, and he had even tried reading books his father recommended. Neither of the things seemed to last long since he kept finding himself alone in his room, staring up at the ceiling on his bed. "There has to be something the castle can supply..." He moaned to himself covering his face with his hands. He stood up and approached his desk which has a couple of the recommended books on it. The book on the top was titled "Fun with Potions!"

"He seriously thought I would find a book on potions to be interesting?" Ephraim scoffed pushing the book aside, knocking it over. A book marker feel partway out, grabbing his attention. He slowly opened the book to the page and glanced at it. "Size changing potions...?" He read with curiosity as he read the "fun things" to do with them. Nothing was listed under the giant potion, but under the shrink potion had various pranks to pull. "That could be a bit fun..." He closed the book and stood up. "It'll take a little alchemy though..." He vanished from his room down to the basement where the alchemy lab was set up.

He made one of both over the course of an hour and held one of each beaker. 'According to the book one potion counter acts the other. So which one do I want to choose?'
