Hector grunted as he pulled his rucksack back up his back. "Why does my bag feel so heavy?" He grunted out so his companion Matthew could hear him. "Did you put more supplies in it again?" He glared at his smaller partner.
"Only a couple of vulneraries and a special potion from the clerics back at Ostia." Matthew responded, passing by Hector to avoid any harsh glares he may gave him. "I would take them but, you're so much stronger my lord." Hector moaned again at his partner's simple mindedness.
"Though doesn't mean you load me up with all of the items you steal. That means you give me an ax and let me destroy anyone in our path." Hector told him, catching up with him. "But what's the special potion you stole?" His interest was touched.
"According to the alchemist who made it, it's some sort of size potion." Matthew told him with a sly smile. "I thought it could come in handy on our quest." Hector's eyes widened. "Imagine yourself as a giant my lord. We could find Eliwood's dad in a moment." Several thoughts came to mind about what it would to be a giant -- to have his power multiply. He reached into his ruck sack and fished out the potion Matthew spoke of. It was definitely a size potion.
"Are you sure this is a potion for giants?" Hector asked, holding the bottle in his right hand. "Did they specify that?"
"Can't say they did for sure." Matthew answered, "However, they mentioned gathering strength." That was good enough for Hector. He held the potion upright and popped the cap off. The thought of being a giant was too overwhelming.
