During his sleep that night, Kent had an awfully strange dream. He dreamt that he was shrinking and everything around him was growing to gigantic proportions, his weapons, the group's collection of mage scrolls. His friends were standing around him, astounded at what they were observing. Kent watched as he became smaller and smaller passing his friend's waists, knees and finally standing tiny in front of a large pair of boots. He looked up (way up) into the face of his friend Sain. He was grinning and smirking at the tiny Kent. "Oh look! What do we have here? A tiny useless bug perhaps? Kent always did say bugs deserved to be crushed, so I suppose I'd better.." Kent's face paled and shook his head. "Hey hey!" He attempted shouting at his gigantic friend but was shocked to find his voice tiny and unheard by everyone.
"Ha ha ha. This'll be fun." Sain lifted his foot up in the air above Kent's tiny body. Kent, too scared too move stood frozen as he looked up at the bottom of his former friend's boot.
Then slowly the shoe lowered, darkening the area around Kent with a large foot-shaped shadow. Down and down it came, until it was right above the shrunken knight. He could have even reached up and touched...
Kent sat up, gasping. It was morning. Everything had just been a bad nightmare.
Rubbing his eyes, Kent took a good look around. Wait. Was he still in his dream? Why did everything look so small? Panicking, Kent stood up on his bed, peering around and the edges of the bed, which was far far away.
And then the door to the room was pushed open. "Hey Kent! Lord Eliwood wants us up and early today for...woah. What happened?"
Kent turned to face the giant intruder. Even in his shock he could tell that it was . . .
