Two quick glances told the thief that there was not a soul in sight. Quickly he stuffed the two relics into a pouch and made his way out of the treasure room, stopping only momentarily to wince at the thought of leaving without a priceless looking battleaxe that was far too big for him to carry out. Oh well, the two rings he was holding was worth more, at least in his own mind.
By the time he made his way back to the throne room, he was surprised to find it completely empty. By the looks of things Prince Ephraim had called off the search and likely retired to one of the castle's many rooms. It was prime time for Colm to try out his new toys.
Smirking the thief made his way over to the extravagant golden seat and sat down, playing the position of high king for a moment. Unable to contain his excitement Colm quickly took both relics out and rolled them around in his hand. The two pieces of jewelry glowed in his hands. The question was, which ring was he going to try on first?
