It only took a few minutes before the effect of the fruit began to work it's magic on the sleeping sniper. First an aura of purple lights surrounded Klein during his slumber. The seemingly patterned lights were adsorbed by the archer's body and clothing. Soon after Klein started to expand, his body still asleep. Somehow eating the fruit had caused the hero to fall into the deepest slumber in days. That, combined with his recent sleepless nights had led to Klein having a nap that nothing could awaken him from-not even as his body started to expand to gigantic proportions.
The blond's legs began stretching out in front of him, his pants and boots growing to fit their host's new sizes. Both his arms expanded as well, one draped over his body and the other inching closer to a berry bush nearby. Klein's head was slowly getting closer to the leaves of the tree he was lying on.
And then all of a sudden, all the growth started.
First Klein's legs shot out, his feet smashing bushes and knocking small trees over, their branches snapping and cracking as they were pushed and broken apart by the giant's powerful feet. Secondly his arms grew and squished countless grasses and plants in the way. Klein's upper body grew as well, his head pushing through the canopy of leaves, destroying several bird nests. The sniper's body got bigger and bigger, eventually making the tree he was leaning on cringe and bend under his weight. His boots each looked like the size of a full grown human being and his hands could probably grasp three or four people at once. His muscles got bigger as well, his torso becoming firm as his arms began to experience muscular growth as well.
All this took a full good ten minutes before the archer's eyes fluttered open. The first thing he noticed was how small everything seemed. The trees around only came up to his head (and he was still sitting down), the bushes of berries no bigger than his thumb. Klein groggily looked around at his body. Weird this muscles seemed better and more firm too. Had he really grown so much in just a short nap? Oh wait..the fruit.
Klein scanned his surroundings again, marveling at the sizes of the trees and other things. Off to the not so far distance was Roy's camp, where the others were staying. Maybe Klein ought to make his way over and show off his new height. The thought of being a giant with so much power was slightly intoxicating to Klein.
