Dennis kept a curious eye on the scene as he watched the two girls get tall and strong. Those bullies who pushed them off had their backs turned to the little girls. Confident that karma would never strike them. The bigger of the two bullies snickered nasally as he showed off a dumb image to his skinnier friend.
"Khehe, kinda looks like Ms. - uhhh. Looks like you!"
"Nuh uh! His face looks beat up as hell! I'd never get beat up like that! You would though!" The other rebutted
The two of them tensed as they prepared themselves for a long day of banter. But that was cut short by the strange feeling of something dangerous right behind them.
"Done playing?" A familiar, not-so scared sounding voice said.
Both of them looked equally confused as they turned around, both felt the authority yet youthfulness of the voice. When they finally came eye to eye with the two girls, their confusion turned to laughter. Realizing that the little dweebs they so easily beat came back for another round of a good ol' knuckle sandwich. But that only gave one of the 2nd graders a good opportunity for a sucker punch!
The skinny kid couldn't even react to the first hit. The black-haired girl landed a quick shot on the side of his head, knocking the little boxer down and hitting the chain on the swing's side, ending up in an uncomfortable K.O. pose. The bigger kid could only watch as his bully buddy fell to the dirt.
Shocked by her new strength and technique, the sucker punch expert gave an excited smile to her friend. The glasses wearing girl had a bright look to her, and set her green eyes back to the other bully, only to see the 5th grader rush towards her on a huge swing arc, ready to utilize the great laws of speed and acceleration he just re-learned the other day.
"NOT FAIR! IF THIS WAS A FAIR 2V2 WE WOULD'VE BEAT U TWO UP ALREADY!" He screamed, his speed became dangerously fast like a bull rushing a matador.
"AAAAAAaaahhh. aw." He realized. She just stepped out of the way like a matador herself.
"Get him Emily!" The black haired kid shouted. Feeling a burst of wind as her friend sprinted to where the swing would pause to come back. Emily's mind now sharp enough to calculate that on the fly. One hand on her glasses and the other on the ground to catch her inertia like a biker's slide. Emily's athletic legs allowed her to grab his legs with a strong jump. The big boy panicked as he felt the surprising grip strength of this supposed little girl. Didn't take long for her hands to find the right spot to use as leverage as she then threw him to the ground. His body bounced twice before Emily pinned her foot down on him. Confusing him as Emily barely reacted to his pushing and punching.
"So... Ready to let us back on our swing?" The redheaded Emily smiled.
"Sure..! ack... sure! just let me get up... and get my friend back" He said through pained wheezes.
As the two bullies waddled away, Emily looked back towards her friend with a 'mission complete' smile and a huge thumbs up. "Well Wanda, we got the swing back!" She said, placing her hands on her hips. Wanda only nodded a couple times before her head became deep in thought.
