'Well Gina, we might as well start walking around.'
Gina smiled and jumped up. 'You're the boss!'
Dennis chuckled nervously and looked down. Gina was wearing shorts and athletic shoes, showcasing the legs of his previous dreams. They weren't any bigger, but up close they were everything he remembered. Tone and athletic. He would have a hard time not staring at them. As they headed for the door, Gina saddled up next to Dennis and wrapped her arms around him for a moment and gave him a quick hug.
'Thank you so much for doing this. It's not like we were all that close in high school.'
Dennis swallowed, unwilling to share his crush. 'Uh, yeah. We were two grades apart after all.'
Gina beamed, looking up at Dennis. 'But now we're both in college. Pretty cool huh?'
Dennis nodded his head and Gina released her hug and started walked next to him. Dennis nodded his head. 'Yeah. Pretty cool.'
As they walked toward campus, Gina looked down at the camera again.
'So, have you tried the camera out yet?'
Dennis looked down a bit embarrassed. 'Uh, no.' Looking back up Dennis smiled and filled in a few holes from his story from the pawn shop. Gina giggled.
'Perfect pictures huh?'
Dennis pulled the camera out, turned it on and pointed it at her. 'That's what he said. Ready to find out.'
Gina frowned. 'What, now? I don't know, I must look a mess.'
Dennis laughed. 'Oh you look fine. Besides, this way we can take pictures of you in front of some places and you can send them back home or to your friends.'
Gina giggled, knowing full well she looked better than fine. 'OK, how about next to this statue?'
Dennis smiled. 'Sure. That's a statue of the school's founder.'
Dennis focused the camera, fiddling with the settings and giving Gina a chance to get closer to the statue. Without much thought, Dennis took the first picture. But then he zoomed in tight on Gina for the second picture, thinking about how beautiful she was.
As he aimed the shot, he noticed something odd. Gina may have been very pretty, but like everyone, she had a few flaws. Only now, through the camera, she looked drop dead gorgeous. Her skin blemishes were gone. Her cheek bones seemed slightly higher. Her chin narrower. Her nose just a little smaller. Dennis's heart raced. He looked away from the camera and she was back to her normal self. He shook his head and looked back through the camera, and once again she was model perfect. He quickly snapped the picture and pulled the camera away.
As she walked back toward him, Dennis's jaw dropped. He blinked his eyes slowly to make sure he wasn't seeing things and leaned forward, focusing on Gina's face. He couldn't believe it. Gina was now as beautiful as the girl he saw through the camera. She wasn't just pretty, she was achingly beautiful.
Gina gave Dennis quizzical look as his mouth hung open and he continued to stare at her.
'Is something wrong?'
Dennis babbled for a moment, trying to comprehend what had just happened. Was he dreaming? Was he seeing things? Gina scrunched her face with concern. Shaking off his leering eyes, she finally leaned forward and put her hand on the camera. 'Well, can I see the pictures or are you just going to stare at me?'
Finally pulling his eyes off of her, Dennis brought up the picture, wondering if she would notice the difference. She looked at the picture and wrinkled her perfect little nose. 'What did you do? Photoshop this already? I look different.'
Dennis stammered. 'No! I, uh, just thought about how beautiful you were, and well, when I looked through the camera, you were. And once I snapped the picture, you actually became like this.'
Looking at Dennis with disbelief, Gina pulled out a compact and gasped as she looked into the mirror. 'Oh my god! I look like a model!'
As Gina leaned forward, checking out her features, Dennis's mind raced. Perfect pictures? The person taking the picture must be able to influence the results and make them real once the picture was snapped.
Dennis began to think. He have to test it further. And he only hoped Gina would cooperate.
But before he said anything Dennis paused to gather his thoughts. Gina still sported a pretty athletic body. But what she didn't know about were the dreams about her having huge, bulging muscles and super human strength. Dennis certainly didn't share these thoughts with her, but now'. Letting out a nervous breath Dennis pulled up as much courage as he could muster.
'Well Gina, since this camera seems to actually take perfect pictures, how about letting me take some more pictures.'
Gina gave Dennis a wry smile. 'Sure, what did you have in mind?'
Dennis sighed, nearly shaking with anticipation. 'Well, how would you like''
