"Sonic, is that my body swapper?"

"Sonic...is that my body swapper machine?" Tails asked, "her" voice starting to panic.
"Yes, it is. What about it?" Sonic started tossing it in the air and catching it.
"Sonic, that thing's not fully tested yet, there's a few bugs in it. It has a tendency to short out after use. At least it did when I was testing-"
At that moment, as if on cue, the device started smoking. Sonic quickly tossed it away and all three watched in horror as it blew into small pieces.
"Oh, great." Tails moaned. "Now we're stuck as each other! I can't rebuild it, that info is in my body, and Amy wouldn't have the skills to rebuild it."
Amy and Tails stared at each other, knowing their new lives had begun...as each other.
