The Egg Pawn picked up the remote from the floor. It had been sent to search for Chaos Emeralds, but this object had a peculiar energy signature. Master Eggman must learn of this!

Eggman leaned back in his chair, examining the device his robotic minion had returned with. It looked like an ordinary remote control, but it had different buttons, plus his machines claimed it had an unusual energy signature.

"Egg Pawn! Egg Flapper!"

The orange-red and purple-pink robots arrived. Eggman pointed the remote and clicked 'Body Part Swap.' There was a flash, and the Egg Flapper's pink body had the Egg Pawn's orange arms and legs, and vice versa. Eggman grinned. So there was more to this remote than he thought.
