Chapter #9
Understanding a friend
by: Unknown
I tried to leave through the front door, to exit this type of confrontation, one I was not familiar to, one that had never occured before and one that quivered through every part of my body.
'Don't go.' He whispered so softly, his eyes deep pools of chocolate brown looking up at me with that fear I did not wish to let down so hard as to run again.
'Luis, Luis we can't do this. We just can't,' I ran my fingers through my hair maturely as a look of confusion spread across his perfect, palette pale face. 'I don't want things to change, you know, between us.'
'They already have.' He mumbled shoving both hands deep into his pockets turning away from me and for once being the one to leave me standing. Suddenly I felt the gut wrenching pain. It was that moment I swore never to run from his eyes again.
'Luis, Luis wait!'
