Alex was not far from his destination when a panicked agent came running up to him with sweat pouring down his face. "Sir, we have an emergency situation we need you to deal with!" He said out of breath as he saluted his superior. "What is the problem?" Alex asked in a calm tone. "I'm sorry sir, but there's no time to explain, please accompany me to the war room where we can brief you on the situation." Alex nodded and followed the man to a large spherical room with large monitors displaying maps and various important data. "Sir, thank god you're here!" A man called from the other side of the room when his eyes fell upon his leader. It was general Mindlock, the man who had single-handily won over 100 battles for Alex and his organization. "Ah, general, good to see you again." Alex said in a friendly tone as the man saluted him. "I wish I could say the same, sir, but I'm afraid I have ill news to deliver... A war has begun." Upon hearing this Alex's ears perked up and he gave his top general his full attention. "A war using our own weapons." The general continued in a grave tone. "A large group of rebels sized control of two of our shipments off the coast of Brazil and held several people hostage with them. This was a few days ago and things like this weren't uncommon so we decided to send a squad of your special ops down there for a rescue and recovery mission... Unfortunately, it was all a trap. The rebels executed several of the hostages and blamed the massacre on our weapons.
Our team of special ops who had just arrived only served to make things worse. Now the whole country is threatening to rise up against us. Yesterday we sent an ambassador of peace to calm things down while we dealt with the rebels. Unfortunately, the meeting went sour and our company was once again blamed. We believe the rebels planned this as they've now gained the support they needed to go to war... if this isn't stopped soon we'll have an army at our front door demanding retribution for the atrocities committed by these... these terrorists!" Alex was silent for a moment as he went over everything he had just heard in his mind. "Goddamn it... have you identified the leader of the rebels?" Alex asked, worried of the involvement of his sworn enemy in this conflict. "No sir, our intelligence ops have failed to get a positive I.D. on the man. All we know right now is that he is a Caucasian male between the ages of 30 and 40... we currently have a list of over 1000 possible suspects. If we don't act now he'll succeed in igniting a conflict that could threaten the security of the entire world. If that happens it is likely the entire planet will eventually turn against us. We must act now... even if we are completely in the dark..." Alex nodded his head and gave an order...
