John awoke and groaned. The lights were on now, but his head was swimming. He rubbed where he felt the pain from the bump and then rubbed where he fell. Well there was no way Hank would have just left him on the floor right? John looked around the room he was in and noticed that he was still in the restaurant. There was a table next to him and he was lounging on the booth.
"Wha..." he murmured to himself.
Then John could swear he felt the floor tremble, though it could have just been from hitting his head. He looked around and saw... it couldn't be. Coming from the kitchen holding a bag of ice was a mountain. Well it was a man, but he was enormous! His gut protruded out in front of him for what seemed like 4 feet and sagged down to his knees. This guy was as wide as a barn and was clothed in the biggest pair of chef's whites John had ever seen.
"Oh so you're awake. Good," the giant bellowed in a deep, thick voice.
"Uh... yeah..." John said, slowly sitting up.
"Careful. You don't have a concussion, but you do have a bit of a bump there. I'm Bill by the way. Friends call me Billy of course. Well, Big Billy," the chef chuckled, setting the ice down and reaching a baseball glove sized hand out to John.
"John... Nice to meet you," John said, shaking Bill's hand.
