Zelav ran quickly through the city streets as she heard more and more people screaming in fear and/or pain in the distance. She hadn’t been able to rest for days since everything went wrong.
Months ago she volunteered herself as a test subject for a new cloning technology and everything went as the scientists expected. The clone was named Valez and thought that she was Zelav’s twin sister. But when Valez discovered she was a clone, nothing more than a copy, she went mad with rage. She tore up the lab, throwing beakers of chemicals out windows, expensive equipment through walls. But in her anger fueled riot some chemicals on a high shelf fell on her, mixing in a strange way that caused her to grow into a giantess. She then ripped her way through the facility searching for Zelav, who wisely left when she heard Valez discovered she was a clone.
Now over a month later Zelav had been on the run, endlessly being hunted by her giant clone. One of the scientists called her with a warning weeks ago that Valez wanted to do something to Zelav, something about “becoming the original”.
Just today Valez caught up with Zelav, who was now running for her life. She ducked into an alley and hid in a small hole in one of the buildings as she heard Valez’s gigantic footsteps growing closer and louder. Zelav huddled as deep as she could into her hiding place as one of Valez’s giant bare feet appeared. “Where is she?” Zelav heard Valez’s thundering voice ask, “All these tiny weaklings and she isn’t here…”
Just then a cloud of dust wafted into Zelav’s nose and she felt a sneeze coming. “Oh please, not now!” She thought.
