when you were asleep at night

You awoke in the middle to the night to the fading sensation of pain. Rolling over you are surprised to discover long hair falling into your face. That and your chest was mildly uncomfortable. You stand up and brush the hair out of your face. As you walk towards the bathroom you realize that not only do you now seem to be shorter but your body feels different. unfortunately you find the bathroom to be occupied so you continue down the hall and into the kitchen. There you look out the window at a raging thunderstorm.

Finally you hear the bathroom door open and...
