Nick McKenna was sent to the Moriarty Arms to find out what was happening there. There were rumors of strange occurrences. Nick's client Nadeen Johnson said that her cousin and his entire family were acting strange ever since their vacation there. It wasn't anything that she could put her finger on exactly, but something was wrong and wanted Nick to check it out.
Nick dressed casually for his assignment. Nick was a tall man of six feet three with short curly brown hair and broad shoulders. He wanted to project the image of a tourist on vacation. He decided to wear a blue and white polo short with a pair of tan khakis, white socks and comfortable shoes. He drove to the hotel and parked in front to check into his room. He got there early and found his room wasn't ready. He checked his luggage with the bellhop. He was assured that the luggage would be brought to his room when it was ready.
Nick didn't know exactly what he was looking for. Nadeen didn't have anything specific to go upon, but Nick got a very eerie vibe once into the hotel grounds. People didn't seem to be acting the way they should. It wasn't just the blatant transvestites who roamed the halls. But there were many other people who seemed odd in their appearance or behavior.
Nick tried to blend in and casually ask questions as if he was just a tourist.
