Steven/Claire looked in awe and fear as the biggest snake ever "yawned". With this "yawn", it's razor sharp teeth were shown. And with that, Steven/Claire ran.
Running for his/her life, Steven pondered if he gave into Claire if he would survive. After all, she did in Resident Evil 2. Then again, he doesn't remember her fighting the Yawn. Maybe if he had Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine on his side...they beat the Yawn.
Eventually, he/she made it to the school. The school was locked to keep out the numerous zombies. So, Steven/Claire broke a window and jumped inside. It was a good thing the glass was fragile on that particular window thought the merging of Steven and Claire. It was a bad thing that the Yawn AND zombies were fast approaching.
Inside, Steven/Claire met up with Benjamin, Rachel and Jill. Explaining what happened, they all couldn't believe it. Rachel gave the necklace back to her brother (or sister, depending how you look at it). Knowing now that the necklace could and would screw them all over, Steven/Claire decided on a simple wish.
A wish that someone could save them. He was looking at Jill at the moment though...with puppy dog eyes. And the wish came true (or possibly partially true) as:
