Steven sat down with Rachel as she tossed anime DVDs at him, looking for her favourites. He put on the necklace for some unknown strange reason. While looking at the DVDs she tossed, the phone rang.
Steven picked up the phone. It was Benjamin, his best friend. Benjamin wanted to make sure they were still on for going to the arcade later. He was supposed to meet Benjamin in an hour. Rachel called Steven, so Steven left the phone off the hook (thinking it would be temporary) to tell Rachel he was busy. But somehow he was looking at the anime DVD cases that were thrown at him, and the characters on them.
There was Sakura Haruno (Steven remembered Sakura was a medical ninja who could heal anything and has superhuman strength...though she was thirteen in the picture he was looking at) on a Naruto DVD case. There was Ichigo Kurosaki on a Bleach DVD case (Steven believed Ichigo could move REALLY fast and he had a REALLY big black sword).
Then there was Steven who said, "Oh my god..." as Rachel witnessed and Benjamin heard (due to the phone being off the hook) Steven turning into:
