Steven went to his room, and flopped on his bed. Looking at the necklace, he decided to try it on. He saw a bunch of Rachel's video games on the floor, and briefly glanced at them. Resident Evil 2 caught his eye, before he put it down and realized he still needed to go to the bathroom. He decided to grab a comic out of his stash first.
Sitting on the toilet, he thought about Resident Evil 2 briefly and remembered playing as Claire Redfield while his sister watched. His excuse back then was that she was too young to play (the T-Virus created zombies scared both of them). Then he opened up his comic to see Jean Grey as Dark Phoenix. He remembered that storyline gave him shivers. Dark Phoenix ate a universe! Freaky stuff.
He also thought about being a brother was kind of hard, but his sister, though annoying, was worth it. They looked out for each other so much, he wasn't sure there was "big brother/little sister" relationship, more like a simple "brother/sister" relationship. He wasn't quite sure what he meant by that, but that was because he was mysteriously tired.
Still, the necklace did nothing...yet.
Getting off the toilet, he felt even more tired and went to sleep in his bed. He woke up to find out that the necklace was gone and he had become:
