At that moment my roommate Alexis entered the room. She was the kind of roommate everyone wanted. Kind, caring, always in a positive mood. We started as roommates but now we are best friends. The only thing was that Alexis could be a bit naïve sometimes, she would always trust the people around her and sometimes those people were not. She had a couple of boyfriends taking advantage of her. It made me sad to hear that so I imagined myself as Alexis' bodyguard, making sure she wouldn't be harmed. Trouble was that she was in some clubs I wasn't allowed, probably because of my love of walking around naked.
"Sorry I'm late. Phoebe needed some help doing her homework." Alexis said as she dumped her bag on her bed and sat behind her desk. She grabbed a couple of books and opened them.
"Phoebe again? You know she's just using you." I told her as always.
"I don't know, she really doesn't get the material." Alexis said.
"That's because she's not focused on it, she's always texting with her boyfriend, I know it." I said always seeing Phoebe and her phone glued together.
"But she's really lonely, she doesn't have a lot of friends." Alexis said defending Phoebe.
"Yeah right, she doesn't act like a friend to me." I said frustrated.
"Say what you want, but she needs my help." Alexis said as she returned back to her own homework. That was also another downside, Alexis could be pretty stubborn.
"Okay, okay I get, we'll never agree on it. But listen I have some great news." I told Alexis. I then explained what happened.
"You can really switch bodies with someone else?" Alexis asked unsure.
"Sure I can, I just need to try it out on someone. Want to help me?" I asked her.
