The tale of Kaede and Yuno

Kaede and Yuno were two best friends that stuck to each other through thick and thin, they knew each other since kindergaten but gradually drifted apart as they aged. Yuno was a shy Korean lady that often played video-games, which Kaede often joined in. They were also a fan of cosplay and were ocassional Live Action Role-Players (LARPs) in the local park, where they often pretended to be anything from wizards, dragons to famous rock-guitarists. It was all in good fun, but Kaede had a feeling that Yuno was getting bored of the fantasy games they used to participate in...

One day, they were bored while strolling through a local shopping centre. As Kaede drank an oreo bubble-tea, she set her eyes upon a new store that showed a huge variety of bright and colourful costumes that dazzled Yuno. "This looks new," Yuno spoke up quietly, "I like the style of that cat-ear headband, can you get it for me?" Kaede sighed and went into the store, where she met a strange old man at the counter.

"Ah, a new customer," said the old man, "Are you getting a gift for anyone? Feel free to choose any costume for yourself too, free of charge."
